This weekend, while I was doing some minor repairs on the car, I checked the tires. The last time I had filled them was in Vermont in the dead of winter. Since it had been that long, I expected the tires to be low. Much to my surprise, they had held their seals very well and the winter air had expanded. My tires were at 40psi in the front and 37psi in the rear.

There is no doubt in my mind that, after setting the pressure correctly, my car handles better. These Michigan roads are a nightmare to drive on and having the tires over-inflated made the pot holes and ruts even rougher to ride on.

Just thought I'd mention it. Go check yours if you haven't since winter and you live in a temperate area like I do.
