and they're "new and improved"-- able to leap buildings at a single bound and cut at least 1/2 second off of my autocross times! (okay, I can dream, can't I?)

The best source is Classic Garage. Do a search here or on Google and give them a call. They are a distributor and work directly with Koni.

Thanks Todd, will do.

EDIT: Checked out Classic Garage, but I also found these on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Has anyone ever done business with these guys? They offer free shipping for the parts, but I will go with Classic Garage if anyone has bad things to say about this place. Price is the same as Classic Garage, but no shipping charges. All positive feedback...looks pretty good.

Call Classic Garage directly and ask for Ann. Let her know you're a member of the SVX Network and that Todd is a personal friend of yours
There's a chance that she'll ship them to you for free.

Awesome!

Unfortunately one of my rear struts has a lot of air in it (it's noisy). I'm assuming they can be rebuilt (preferably under warranty).

MODIFYING THE STOCK SHOCKS

guys I have modified my stock shocks at a local professional, he hardened them to feel like gas... don't you have similar workshops in the states?? believe me they became better than even gas while they remained oil based. I have witnessed the Konis in my friends' BMW M5, they did not feel the same as in my modified shocks, he like mine and he is going to harden his Konis at this guy's. believe me they will feel better.

Do they kind of make a... I don't know how to describe it... "whhhhiiishhh" -ing sound? I got that from the rear as soon as they were installed.

If they were leaking oil, they would for sure have a lot of air in them...
