I made the hoodscoop on my 2.5l outback limited functional. There is a plate under it that does god knows what. If you take off the soundproofing you can take off the plate. Guess what, it reduces weight and allows air to flow into the engine compartment, thus cooling things down. this is good!

and yes u are puting a bad name on svx owners, with that car domain crap. other wise i ignore, 99.9% of what u post .
