Ebay gone JDM

Well I was just searching for svx stuff and their is about a dozen of jdm parts on there.
Here's a link to the floor mats but I have no clue what the little tiny carpet piece would be for? There's no room as it is for more crap.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-S...Q5fAccessories

Re: Ebay gone JDM

Looks like it could possibly go over the drive shaft hump in the rear but not sure...

The console goes all the way to the rear seat....so ther is no hump showing in the back of a SVX.....so it must be for something else...

Re: Ebay gone JDM

It's the little flap of carpet that covers the gap under the drivers seat. There's none on the passenger side because of the storage tray.

Not on a JDM SVX it doesn't.

The JDM ones have seating for three at the back.

Re: Ebay gone JDM

I stand corrected. For the price of them with the shipping they better be made of the finest Alpaca wool with gold embroidery.

Re: Ebay gone JDM

I've never seen these grey ones before. They must be from a later model than mine. Probably quite rare.

The normal "blue rose on green" pattern ones that I have are super quality and I would expect them to be expensive.

Re: Ebay gone JDM

They are the same as I have in my '95 JDM, they are awesome quality, and ooh soo soft, summer barefoot driving is a pleasure.
The SVX badges are alloy and riveted to a back plate.

Re: Ebay gone JDM

I have the earlier blue and green swirl pattern also. Quality is the very highest. Deep and luxurious.

I think $100 is very cheap for these babies, but if they are as heavy as mine, and they look like they are, shipping will be costly.

The claret car picture they show is of a K-staff car, I have seen the car and location before. As Phil says, the small piece is the saddle section for over the rear transmission tunnel.

It's a little bit disingenuous of them to photograph the set like they have for Left Hand Drive Markets. If you notice the driver's mat on the left, you will see the Alcyone badge is to the right of the mat, near the transmission tunnel. When correctly arranged for the RHD market that they were designed for, these mats have the fancy Alcyone badge facing up at the driver and passenger as they enter the car. In a US or LHD context, these badges will be hidden away a bit over on the right of the mats.

They are still lovely mats, though.

Joe

Re: Ebay gone JDM

Quite honestly taht doesn't seem like a bad price for them. What would you expect to pay for normal floor mats? $50-60? And they'd typically be aftermarket, not OEM, which personally I think never fit right. I'd pay it.
