Wiper Problems

Question about the windshield wipers. Mine don't sit in the right place, they sit up too high and don't rest where they should. I am aware of the summer/winter wiper switch thingy and it does nothing on mine. It just activates the wipers one swipe and then they go back to the same exact place. The one on the drivers side actually hits the end of the windshield molding and goes "clunk" Can I just take the arms off and reposition them at a lower resting point?

Thanks

I would definitely recommend that. If it's hitting the edge of the windshield it needs to be repositioned.

Shut-off the ignition just when the wipers reach the top of their sweep, then reposition the driver's side down slightly away from the A-pillar. Worked for me.
