well... I didn't like that Mobil1 in there anyway... My silver hit a flatbed for the first time EVER. I have a HUGE oil leak that was just running out out from ontop of the alternator. Looks like I need to get underneath it again and make sure it is just the oil plugs and nothing more

Well apparently my Alt swint arm bolt was too loose and the alt rattled around at high rpm. This is turn decided it wanted to break one of my alt mounts and thus breaking my oil pump. So last night after I got home from a long night of work I did some midnite mechanics and replaced the oil pump with one from my old engine. I am still putting the little pieces back on like my PS pump and radiator back in but it is Detroit Deisel Day!!!!!

Bummer about that alt/oil pump issue Tom
Hey Tom,
I'm not here often as I never did get a SVX, still like 'em though. But what ever happened to your TT set up? The blower looks sweet though. If you'd just point me to the tt post story that be cool. Best, Barry

Well Barry, I got offered a lot of freakin money(much more than it was worth in parts) for my ebony 5mt. After I broke the n/a time slip record the car was to be sold to wiznutwrx. So with the sale of this car I was able to buy a mint silver LSL and put a 6speed in it. And eventually decided to go with the stageIII after dabbling in some nitrous. So, yeah that about wraps it up

well she is back up and running again. Now new and improved without a monstrous oil leak . So it looks like I WILL be able to make the Subaru Challenge as planned. I feared that I was not going to be able to make it. On a positive note, for anyone who knew I was rebuilding a detroit 671 engine for my 40' egg harbor.... We finally got to it today and get it crankin. She fired up and runs better than it ever has before.... That was at least 300hrs between everyone involved and it was a great moment for all of us. SO, 2 engines running like a top makes tommy a very happy but very tired boy
