As for installing the inserts we used large pipe cutters to cut the tops off the OEM strut.

i got a couple of those. Good idea dave. I may end up getting the G/Cs anyway since mychailo just quoted me 6 weeks for my new springs... I dunno if I can wait that long, I am moving in 4

Have you driven/been in a GC equipped SVX yet? If not it's like no other SVX. It makes as big a difference as changing to a 5spd!

yes I have, Jesse has taken me for a ride in his beast. I am on the phone ordering with G/C as i type. I will order the Koni's as soon as my money clears the bank. I am soooooo stoked right now

I must apologize to Mychailo for not telling him I need the springs in a hurry. I was excited that he was gonna make me a set but I can not wait 6 weeks. I would highly suggest them for anyone who does have the time to wait.

the clean way i was thinking more distructive like saw zall. pipe cutter is a good idea for the tubing if i can get my hands on one i will use it. but the perches are going bye bye with the zall and a grinder. then ill ice them down with some spray paint.

sounds like a good plan. I think i will also ditch the perch if it looks dumb with them.

i to had to bow out on his coils do to time restraints and moving. with the long drive i got i am in desperate need or struts they are done leaking if that paints a picture. the gc arrived in ak quick and the money was instant. good choice on time. im installing tomorrow.

Tom do you got bad struts to put 'em in? If not let me know. I'll give you a set to have loaded with the konis in exchange for your good but old rear struts. Will pay shipping too unless we can arrange a p/u or the like. Maybe that'll give me incentive to go watch Jesse kick butt (unless Melis drives)
