Pulley Separation 218K miles

My crank pulley came apart a few weeks ago. I actually heard it pop when I started the X. Thank goodness it moved away from the engine. I put a picture in my locker. This pulley, to the best of my knowledge has about 218K miles on it.

you did better than I did - mine went at 130K. I'm glad your's did like mine and moved away - plus I shut it down so no belts were even damaged.

FYI, I'm running Dayle's full-sized, one-piece pulley and have no complaints yet with maybe 2K miles under it's belt

Mine started going at 90k. I would hear an occasional rubber squeal and my belts were as tight as can be. We took it off and eventually i was able to pull the pulley apart by hand.

I'm currently running an Ovidiu stan pulley for about 13,000 miles now.
