Grille Light Modification.

Hey everybody,

After seeing svxcess's grille light modification at Reading I knew I needed to make my own. I bought a nice grille from a junkyard a couple of months ago and bought a multi colored LED strip off of ebay.

I installed it and here is the result:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hK-oMD_I30

I have to thank svxcess and ZMan for the partially completed how-to guide which helped me with the modification. I am almost finished with the How-To document so hopefully it will be up here soon.

I think this beats the stock 97' Grille. I like the fake light ones better anyways, mod or no mod.

Let me know what you think!

I bet you're loving this!

Just make sure cops don't see it. They'll go all Sarah Palin crazy if they see blue lights on your car.

I know, the red/blue strobe is not even in the video, that is the worst

I just finished it and it is way over the limit for PDF files. I will contact the admins to see what to do and if they can not upload it I will put it on one of my websites. It will be up in a couple of days.

Re: Grille Light Modification.

I loved that post, I hadn't laughed that hard in a while (Thanks Alan) but it needs some serious updating. There are far more douchier cars on the road now. I mean, can anyone say "Scion"?

You think Scions are douchy? You have got to be kidding me. The only way a Scion could be douchy is if it is 1 of 2200 and BRIGHT Yellow, that would make it douchy.

Thanks for the comment SVX1999

Re: Grille Light Modification.

I never minded the Lancer's but they are in an entirely different class than the SVX. The SVX stands out more than a Lancer by far because of the unique styling. I'd drive a Lancer if someone gave me one and I'd probably love it... Just not more than my SVX..

Now a 3000GT... That'd be fun.

Yes, they are quite douchy. I mean, the come "Pre-riced out" straight from the factory without any real performance mods in them (just looks) but the owners still seem to think they are driving a million dollar super-car.

If you like them, go for it :P ....as for me
