Security Module going bad?

Kitten just started this this morning...

I can't arm the security module, but if I lock all the doors and close her up.. I can disarm it.

Is this a normal symptom of a failing Security Module?

Scratch that... Now she won't even disarm... Maybe the battery in my remote's dead.... Though I just replaced it...
