day running light x 2 ?

can the day running light switch ..if I can get another one [ the double switch] ..can will it fit on the other side of the dash where the coin holder goes...I'd like to run/use that switch to hook up some driving lights. Looking in the SubaruParts.com site at the dash schematic it even looks that in some markets some models skip the coin holder and have switches there...? am I reading that wrong...

The blank part of my current swicth has the LED for the security system in it ..thats why I thought if I could get another switch panel [and if it fitted..? theres not much room behinfd the coin thingy], I could get the driving spots hooked up to that ..

has anyone done similar
