Adding an OEM Spoiler
.
Has anyone with an SVX without a spoiler, added the OEM one? I picked one up from a pick-n-pull and I’m wanting to put it on my car. .

Re: Adding OEM spoiler
The positions for drilling the holes are already molded into the trunk lid. Look from inside the trunk. My body shop did it back in 1993 when I bought my pearl one. The dealer threw in one to seal the deal. A $600 option back then.
And it cost me only $150.00 installed and painted black. .

Re: Adding OEM spoiler
Awesome, ill have to check out the inside of the trunk. I wonder how hard it is? I think it would be cool to mold it into the body.

Re: Adding OEM spoiler
Actually looks nicer when they mount it a few inches more to the rear so it almost hangs over the dack of the deck. Also remember you trunk lid is going to be extremely heavy.

Re: Adding OEM spoiler
Ill look at mine in a minute, as I did pick one off a salvage car a year ago and I'm now in a paint class, so in the process of sanding now and removing all the plastic bits.
