subaru baja vs. isuzu vehicross

wow... it's been a while since i've posted on this forum... regrettably, i no longer own a svx... the tranny issues still haunts me at night... maybe one day i can recover...

but i do value the opinion of the folks on this forum... so here's my latest question

i'm in the market for a fun suv... and the two i'm thinking about are the subaru baja turbo and the isuzu vehicross. i've loved the vehicross ever since it first came out... just loved the look, but i'm not too sure about isuzu reliability issues and 15-19 mpg is another eeker... i also loved the baja since it debut in 03, and the baja turbo seems quirky enough to satisfy my wow factor... better fuel economy, but the turbo probably requires premium gas...

all in all, just wanted to see if the folks here have any experience/opinion with these vehicles...
