Re: Rims that fit

Easiest way to ensure they fit is to order rims (and lugs) for a 2005 STi. Same bolt pattern and offset tolerance as the SVX. Oh and STi sized tires are a little larger than stock but still work so you can just keep the tire person ignorant of things that stress thier mind... like rims from one car can fit another.

Offset 40 *might* work with a narrow rim like you are asking, but you really need to stick to the 48-55 offset range for best results.

I believe newer honda's use 5x114.3 with +45 offset, it will technically work I seen someone put them on there svx but the rim might be too narrow for a good fit.

I think some of the older 5 bolt honda's used 5x100 so that would not work.
And most of the honda's are going to be 4bolt.

You can run many of the 5x114.3, or even gm's 5x115 rims the problem you will have is 1. Rubbing the fender if the offset is too low IE a +30 such as some Nissan Z rims. Also depending on how wide you may find a tire rubbing on the inside not the outside. Then and probably the worst thing about running the wrong offset. The stress put on your wheel bearings will cause them to fail prematurely.
This will depend on your diameter, width, and offset though. If I dont have this backwards a 18" rim with a +42 offset that is 8" wide would keep the bearing happy just as if it was stock 16" rim +55 offset 7.5 wide rim.

Re: Rims that fit

What about the center hole dia. I am going to try them out on the car. said they are 40 offset 5 hole 114.5 with a 75 mill center hole . What about the center sticking out? These have a cap over the bolts.
