Cut off and wrecked the svx bad

Well get a call from my fiancee that someone cut her off, made her spin out of control, and smash a curb witch popped the air bag. The other driver fled the scene which the cops are looking at videos to find him. Started the car and it's now got a weird hiss/whine and a LOUD metallic knock. The car transmission wise drives fine but the motor no. Also noticed a almost dirty black coolant leak when I start it. To me it sounds like bad rod knock but I don't know. I'll try to load a video and pics....

Do not run the engine/transmission untill you find out where the noise/leak is coming from.
Yours is a REALLY fine SVX.
I hope that She can be repaired.

Well my phone wont send a video cause its to big of a file. Pretty much a loud metallic knock from the bell housing/driver side rear of the motor. It's much louder underneath the car And like I said it's dripping a black coolant like crap when I turn it on. Also has a mean hiss/whine from the rear of the motor also.

Tom, she is ok and this was in HER svx which is the pearly I just picked up for her a month or so ago. If your going to be at Reading tomorrow i'll let you hear the noise on my phone.

Was going to tell you not to bother with the switches My opinion it sounds like she cracked the head/rod bearing but she didn't hit the motor at all just the control arms?

Got the front end lifted so I can get a better look at that leak and from what I can see its leaking onto the pass side motor mount to the floor but couldn't see where on the motor its leaking.

I definitely wouldn't start it anymore. You risk causing more damage.

Yea as bad as it sounds the engines junk and needs replaced.

SVX motor mounts are liquid filled BTW. Might be the source of the black goop?
Maybe the noise is from a now cracked/broken flex plate.?? Don't know, can't hear it.

Got back from Reading last night and just got off work. Took another good look at the leak and determined that it is indeed the motor because there is a cup over the top of the mount and it was dry when the mount was dripping. Also drained the oil and felt around the pan to find no metallic flakes or chunks. So next will be draining the front diff to check for anything to be safe and if that's ok it almost has to be the flexplate is brokzord. Uhh it's going to be along day........ I'll also try to get the noise uploaded also.

Is there anything by the TB that would make a whine like that? I didnt see any broken or loose hoses.

Listened to the car again and it just depresses me everytime I hear it. I figured if I remove it and the flexplate is good i'll have some cheap engine parts for sale soon.
