Larry,

Sounds like a great idea. It felt good to bring Michelle to Reading two years ago. I know she really appreciated it.

We can discuss details on the logistics (selection criteria, contributions, etc.) on the network officers forum if needed. Might have to have an alternate candidate in case our first selection can't make it for reasons other than financial.

Larry, you ARE a network officer. Hover your mouse over your handle (which is green, like mine) and it will show you as an "SVX World Network Officer"

You should also be able to see the Network Officer forum on the main page (but only if you are an officer) You've even posted on that forum about having your donation avatar removed!

Tom and I are cheap dates.
In Maryland, where its MUCH cheaper than in West Virginia, it's usually $43-$44 at case prices before tax.
In PA it is around $73.+

I know, we were just there!

How Di got it for so cheap.....

The Lost Verses

Many of you at Reading Viii heard me singing a little ditty called "The SUBYDOO Song" (don't tell Hanna & Barbera).

Anyway, besides the regular verses, which are printed on paper, there are also 'lost verses' which keep rattling around my wasted mind.

An example that I sung at Reading is:

Suby Subydoo, the cop tagged you, for going way too fast;
Suby Subydoo, you told him to shove it up his...........
Suby Subydoo, the judge saw you, and sent you right to jail;
Suby Subydoo, Rosie's mad, she had to pay your bail.

The lost verse that's been rattling around my head lately, is:

Suby Subydoo, your posts looked bland, you wanted some more bite;
Suby Subydoo, Chris fixed you, so now your posts look right.
But Suby Subydoo, you took our cash, to pay the Network dues;
So Suby Subydoo, Rosie's mad, 'cause now she can't buy shoes.

PS: I'd like to dedicate this verse to "The Ponz."

I received a call from Sydney at the Holiday Inn. The prices she quoted me for rooms for Reading IX are a little higher than this year.

They are offering them to us for $75.00/night plus 11% tax, for a total of $83.25 per night.
