Actually ive always wanted to play baseball in that dome and hit a ball high up on the catwalk. That would be fun to get the ball lost up there

The cat walk is there to protect our elderly folks sitting in the beach. It's so funny, they never expected anyone to actually hit those things, so they had no rules if someone did. Anyone can get a hit out in left if Perez is out there, he looks like he is sleeping....what an idiot, he was out there and looked up, the ball landed 20 feet behind him !!!! He was yawning at the time. But, dem's my Rays. I still wish we were outside like it should be, even with the heat, at least you can work on your tan and the time won't be a total loss.

Gosh the Phills are struggling. Beat the reds 12-2 last night though. Our starting pitching hasnt been so bad. Brett myers struck out 9 and lost one day against the cubs....cory lidle struck out 11 and lost one night too. Jim Thome really needs to get healthy!

Can we have ne of your pitchers, maybe you know someboby who knows somebody....we need at least 2. The Dribble Rays hit the ball well, and because of our pitching, the other teams hit them better. The only teams we seem to be able beat are the Yanquis and White Sox.

No! Our pitching is our strong point apparently. We just need to get more hits and more run scoring.

My Yankees have now won their last 8 games.

Too bad you dont have the great farm system you used too. And too bad that anyone in that farm system isnt anything but trade bait . Its funny....i work with two diehard yankee fans who freak out if you guys lose 2 in a row and talk about what kind of trades the team needs to make . I get excited when my fightin phills win 2 in a row . Were a good team...bobby abreu is on fire...once thome and lofton come back and were all 100 percent then i think we'll start puttin some more runs on the board and start winning. I was able to visit the phillies ball park again this weekend and must i say WOW....what a great ball park it is .

Due to some rather bad fortune, I missed Reading. You were all in my mind that weekend. As for Baseball, Boston is doing well, and the Yankees will buy whoever is needed to win. But I'm still hoping Baltimore can keep it going into July at least. The Yankees INFIELD salary exceeds like 10 or more team payrolls in MLB. Follow along with me, S A L A R Y C A P! Look at Football. It works. Wouldn't it be nice to see the Pirates and Royals be good teams again? Parity sells. Attendence actually went UP in the NFL after 1995.

The first phase of "Da Subway Series" is now complete. The Yankees took 2 out of 3 from the Mets. Looks like the 'Evil Empire' is back.

Last year, the Yankees and Cardinals collapsed in the post season. This allowed the Red Sox to win the World Series. That means that the end of the world is quickly approaching and it's getting awfully cold in 'He...double hockey sticks'. Everything is so topsy turvy, that the Phillies took 2 from the Orioles at Camden Yards; go figure !! That was for you Soobie.

The fightin phills are back and in full swing. Jim Thome is back in the line up and our pitching is doing very well. Phillies are winners of 6 out of there last 8 i believe. Very big series down in florida starting today. Jon Lieber against Dontrell Willis. If we can take 2 out of 3 we'll be right back in the race for the NL East. If you watch the Phills play it looks like their whole attitude had changed.

Soobie,

I almost feel sorry for Pedro (NOT). He is really pitching great for the Mets so far. Unfortunately for him, the Met infield play and their bullpen are being his "Daddy." The Mets should give a "Marvelous Marv" trophy for the Met infielder with the most errors at the end of the season. The trophy should be a concrete first baseman's mitt.

The Phillies fans in Philly are fed up with Manuel, Wade, & Montgomery. They want an entire front office change. You should hear the sports talk radio in Philly. They are really mad.
Well ,at least, the Sixers took the heat off the Phillies for awhile.

Since the Yankees can't scout anyone with talent, they would be really bad if they weren't able to pay 42 year old pitchers over $15 million a year. They are a few injuries away from being the baseball version of the Oakland Raiders.

Larry, Yankee hatred is universal! I'm an Orioles fan. If there was a SALARY CAP baseball would be more exciting. Teams like Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Milwaukee, etc... will NEVER be able to compete.
