Earl - They are Proxes T1-S 225/40ZR18. They are pretty low profile and the tall grass makes them look even lower.

Forgot I had this pic...

My '96 L in the back, with Harry's '97 LSi in front (other two cars in the picture are Ron Mummert's ebony pearl '92 LS-L, and John's (svxcess) '96 Polo Green LSi):

On number 2

Hi all,

I have been off the radar screen for a while but I'm making a comeback.
I just traded in my '92 black over claret LS-L for a 25th anniversary SVX with just a hair over 72,000 miles on it. I will take some photos and get them on this thread in the next day or two.

Dayle,
Thats the one...I bit the bullet and financed! Had to talk them down quite a bit from the 10K asking price! BTW I LOVE THIS CAR.

I managed to get some background on the car from the previous owner's wife. The guy bought it new from Emich Subaru at age 75 and drove it for three years as his golf-mobile (he lived at 49'ers). Probably explains the only two foreign objects in the car, a golf tee and a shoe horn. Sadly he passed away in 1998 and the car was "mothballed" in his widows' driveway until late last year when her kids decided it was time for the assisted living home. She sold to Emich (who probaly shafted her) and they did some work to get it up for sale. Typical detail-for-resale work. Only 18,800 miles on the clock when I signed. I've found some problems since then, but nothing major.

I still wish I could have found an LSi, but having an SVX that looks good (some paint issues, a couple 'blemishes'), nearly perfect interior and smells like new is awesome.

Actually there is one other problem: I want another SVX.

Nice! Rallying the SVX in the mud! How were your times compared to the other awd cars that competed?
