AMR Radiator install and Fitment

Ok so I received the prototype AMR Radiator today I took many many pics and showed each step in the install process. I hope you like it.

First was the un-boxing,
One of the first things I noticed besides the quality of construction AN Fittings for the transmission cooler lines.
I have a manual transmission so I didn't need to do anything with them but I spoke to Andy and he said the radiator will come with the AN to barb fitting,
So putting the fan shroud on the drivers side went on perfectly I did run into a little issue putting the passenger side shroud on though

Re: AMR Radiator install and Fitment

I wanted to get this installed and going and I have a spare passenger side shroud so I modified mine to fit.

I did the wiggle/jiggle to get the feet pegs set in and it dropped in perfectly.

There is lots of room between the fan shrouds and the engine for some of the more modified svx's out there

the view from the underside

I vacuumed out the system and it held great and refilled

A couple of videos of that vac and fill, and how good it cools

Re: AMR Radiator install and Fitment

Some may notice that the top rad mounts are missing a bolt each, they are broke off, been that way since I had the car it never affected anything so I never bothered with it.

Re: AMR Radiator install and Fitment

So the only problem is the fan shroud mounting points don't line up?

only the passenger side shroud, and not far off, I slotted out the tabs on the passenger side fan shroud so I could install it in the car.

Re: AMR Radiator install and Fitment

I just checked out your videos. What type of coolant are you running?

The long life Asian formula, its red, I don't really know much more about it, it was reasonable price at the parts store.
