analog signal in 4EAT automatic transmission
Can somebody please tell me what should I expect to read in my voltmeter connected to the output signal from TCU: duty solenoid B and C ???
I'm reading solenoid C goes from 0 to 12v suddenly any time and vice versa. Solenoid B is in 0 all the time. I imagine solenoid B will change gradually to 12v when the TCU decides to lock up the TC. When I put the FWD fuse I get consistent 12 v on solenoid C. So I consider that when this solenoid C is 0v, the awd is in solid connection (looked). I was expecting to have analog signals from 0 to 12 vdc in both solenoids. Thanks |

Re: analog signal in 4EAT automatic transmission
Both are PWM signals.

Re: analog signal in 4EAT automatic transmission
that explains it all! I didn't know this TCU where capable of generate PWM power signals! If I add a 100microfarad capacitor in parallel... then I would be able to read this dc voltage in a regular meter, do you think this would affect the solenoid behavior?
