Temp Sensor

I have been having the "Hard Start" problem for years. Posted many a time on the board. I have cleaned the throttle body and the injectors seem to be fine (presure test by mechanic friend). I don;t have an engine code and the fans aren't running all the time. Could the sensor still be goofed up and sending a bad signal?

I hate to blow $20. I'm too cheap...

Paul

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
Try cleaning the contacts on the temp sensor...they are a big problem on the XT6es, so it won't cost anything to try.
If it helps, I'd go ahead and buy a new one.

you can buy an SVX cheap, but they still think they're a $36,000 sport-luxury flagship when it comes to your wallet.
