Suspension Clunk
So my '92 has developed a clunk that seems to only occur when I accelerate from a stop and sometimes as I am braking coming to a stop. It's always just a single clunk, not a rattle, not a thud, and sounds like it's coming from the front end. It's definitely suspension, I can feel it through the pedal when it happens.
I've been trying to figure out where this clunk is coming from without any luck. Last weekend I had both front tires off and couldn't find any loose bolts or anything obvious. The front calipers do wiggle slightly but I can't see those being the culprit given the nature of this particular clunk. Given the fact that I have polyurethane sway bar bushings, replaced the ball joints and strut mounts <1yr ago where should I direct my attention? |
