SVX To STi

hi guys, What do you think To install Wrx Sti Engine In Svx With the STi electrical wiring, computers, engine, radiators, manifolds, gearboxes, differentials,braking , Will I fell The Power??

Yes but when will parts for the flat 6 be unavailable? I think modernizing it is cool. If you do all of that, you really need to get the koni/GC struts and springs. It makes the car handle so much better. Its a rough ride though.

I was actually mapping that swap out for fun in my Fundementals of Engineering Design class. It's easier than the manual swap (with my mounts ) and you don't even have to swap driveshafts. The 3 diffs fit in nicely, and the wiring isn't that bad of a job if you cut out all the spaghetti in the SVX before you start. Personal opinion is that an digital dash would be easier, or fitting an sti cluster in. Either that, or you can just get an external tach, cause it's not going to read properly at all on the svx's stock tach. This is, of course, assuming you're not going to go crazy on the DCCD swap too. It's doable, but I'm lazy. That's why I bought an SVX.
