Woo Wo, warranty is starting to work
Had the SVX in local Subaru shop last week. Tranny is still acting funny leaving stop light. Engine revs a hair and then jurks into drive and goes. Shifts fine thou. Anyway, they gave me a list of things they found wrong and the power steering pump is one of them. The warranty company ok'd the power steering pump and then the dealer suggested I change fluid and filter on the trans to the warranty company. Ok, so I paid for that which was done when I bought the car. The warranty company now knows about the trans and I'm supposed to drive it and see if this helps. I have 19months and 20,000 miles left on the warranty. You gotta love buying a 92 SVX and getting a warranty too.
 So far the 1500.00 I paid extra for the warranty has covered rear wheel bearings and now the power steering pump replacement. If I get the trans replaced out of this I will be set.

The PS Pump probably just needed a O-Ring....but if you get a whole new pump out of it, all the better.....
