now i had a problem with the hood i am gonna share with you:
I went to a friend of mine who works with this white material same as concrete used for ceiling decoration... we made a mold with it on my original hood and then i did the fiberglass thing with light aluminum sticks used as chassis for it not the change shape.
I draw the design of that opening on a piece of carton first then posed it on the fiberglass hood. Took accurate measurement for it, draw the same design on it and then used the grinder to cut.
Then i brought SVXRides' ( ) metal grill, cut it the same shape and posed it on the opening i did on the hood. covered it from below with fiberglass.
The result? a 15 lbs hood.
But the mistake i did is that when the paintjob guy did his work, i installed it directly on my car without putting an isolator from below. the result? the hood changed shape from the right (a little bit) and the paint was screwed on the center (also a little bit)
so from 1/6/2005 till now, i am weeping and crying...
Danny,
Very nice! So the "vents" aren't actually functional - nice looking just the same
-Bill

I have fitted orange bulbs on both sides of the car, the front corners, front side markers and rear side markers (of the taillights), when i light up my lights during the night, you can see all of them on with that amber color... looks gr8. I have never tried white light, any nighttime pics?

the part from the closed foglight to the other closed foglight comes from an impreza. the other stuff done on it are entirely my work...

J/K What vehicle did you get the lower part of the front bumper from. I was thinking of somthing similar but did not know what car had a similar front end size.

Steve
the lip you mean? hehe, this is the funniest part of it, i found a broken lip of an audi (i think) on the road side near the garage i do fiberwork, glued it together as much as i can and then made a mold of it and then did the lip that you see.
So i think this is an Audi Lip (it had the 4 circle badge on its side)

Danny,
I think you do a good job with fiberglass and are trying to make your vision come true, keep up the good work, whether people like what you do or not (and I don't like some of it) your work is good, and deserves compliments!

You did a good job on the hood work, it's not really to my taste (but growing on me), reminds me of either (or both) a pontiac trans-am or grand prix

I don't like the "eye-lids" on the headlights, but I don't like "eye-lids" on 99.9% of cars, so to each his own

The bumper/front clip looks great but seems a little thick/wide in comparison to the lines of the rest of the nose/hood, this may just be the angle of the photo's though and again the "eye-lids" narrow out the headlights so that might make the bumper look fatter then it actually is. Curious, are there fog lights under those covers at the moment? Or something planed for those slots in the future??

The front grille looks awsome!!! Great job modifying it, flows nicely with the hood and clear lights!

I also love the side skirts, they also flow well with the lines of the car and make the side look a little more agressive.

Still hate the wing height (not sure about the style either), but will be interesting to see what you do with it in the following month(s)
Any other plans for the rear of the car?? Or planing on keeping it the way it is (other then the wing height)??
