Mark's obituary was in the paper today. I am at school right now so here is the link.

Hi everyone, Lets not forget that Marks funeral is Saterday afternoon. I think it would be nice if everyone gave a nice thought in your own way as a send off for Mark. You only get one shot at life,and this was Marks. See ya and take care, BOBB

The funeral service was very lovely. There were a lot of friends and family there to say there last goodbyes. I was nice to say goodbye to a friend and fellow SVX’er that has meant so much too many. I never got to meet Mark in person but talked to him on the phone several times before my move to Minnesota. He had such love for the SVX and the community which was not forgotten during the service. There was a picture college of Mark’s life on display and right in the middle were pictures of him in his SVX and of the Duluth Meet from two years ago.

I have attached the service material for all to see and for those that have not read it before, A Fireman’s Prayer. Mark was a retired firefighter from the Lake Johanna Fire Department.

I would also ask if a moderator could close this thread as a chapter in the life of the Tente family has been closed and a new one started.
