I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Funny, I was day dreaming today about what it would be like to put a twin turbo V8 engine and drivetrain from the Lotus Esprit into a Delorean DMC. The platform is the same, and it'll truly give the car the speed to match its avant-guard looks...

Significant Technical Input
I recall Johnny Carson's take on the car: "You just snort-start it and it follows any white line."

Now the only way we'll be able to shake his hand would be in one of his cars. (A specific one at that)

Oddly enough, at lunch today I noticed a Delorean parked in front of the shop that works on my car.

I see one everytime I pass through a nearby town. It's been sitting in a showroom for the past 10 years or so with about 23,000 miles on it.

Too bad

He was a very smart man. And despite their poor build quality I really like DeLoreans. I'd love to get one that's had all the updates.

Patented the overhead cam.... What a visionary!
