Talking Wierd turn of events

So, my wheel bearing got fixed and am happy to once again be driving my SVX, sans music. However, a present was given to me upon the acqusition of my beloved SVX from a friend. My buddy had just given me a Mitsubishi TEO4H Tubrocharger. WOW!!!

So, I am proud to announce that you all may be talking to the next turbo'd member of the SVX World Network. Work will commence around the spring of next year and the saving begins now.

I hope to have pics available soon.

Keith

Congrats, a turboed SVX would be pretty sweet. But didn't you just have to pawn your amp to pay for a used wheel bearing to fix a SVX that you use for pizza delivery? (Nothing against delivering pizza, I did it for Domino's after I got out of highschool, and again when I was in the Air Force (and I made more delivering pizza than the Air Force paid me )). I'm just trying to say that doing a turbo SVX properly probably won't be cheap or easy. If it was, we'd see a lot more of them. Even the turbos done by professionals for the SVX have been less than impressive. Still, if you can put together an effective, reliable turbo setup for a couple thousand dollars (or less), I'll be extremely happy for you (and asking for instructions ).

Show that you modded your engine to handle 10psi,
and I will (as probly all the other SVX Tuners) will be
asking for a "How-To"

just thinking about 10psi on the EG33 Engine... good lord
that would be a VERY nice boost wouldnt it? heheheh

then you just need to make a Modified badge that says "SVX Turbo"

I figured that I will probably be boosting withing a year's time. I am working on getting a job out at the Idaho State Prison, so I'd have more than enough money on my hands to do it properly. I just want to get everything hooked up and see how it runs off of 5 PSI and then move to 7.5 to 1 compression pistons and boost away at 15 or so. As I mentioned, it is all in the works. If the Prison job doesn't pull through, I'll still deliver pizza's, just not in my street prowler.

I hope you get that prison job (if that's what you want). Maybe you'll come take a visit to Moscow once you get a turbo in your Suby (my door is always open). GL w/ everything.
