Hope you've been keeping well. Have not seen you on here in ages, or else we are not browsing in the same forums.[ Should that be fora? You being edimicated like? ] Been chatting to Randy by PM. Work is keeping his nose very close to the stone. You mean John? He's on a good bit. Often on the Technical Forum, which is good, he has experience and the answers to many questions. Did you know I am a two SVX owner now? Driving to England in two weeks' time to collect a black 93 English market model, with all mod cons, bit like your Lsi touring. Good to hear from you again. What happenend your lighthouse? Joe

Shining my light
Never could get the beacon to rotate in the right direction...remember?
Congratulations on your new aquisition. The last thing I had heard was your car was....I don't know...attacked or something? Broken into at a dealer? It seems like a long time ago... Now we need Ron to come on board... All the best Joe... Don

Different mishap
That event you speak of happened nearly a year ago!
My car was in for gearbox repair. The shop was burgled, tools stolen, and also my gearbox which was assembled, ready to go back in the car. They sourced me another tranny, which has been going well since, other than the odd 2 to 3 flare. Will bring it back soon to have the brake band tightened. More recently a lady had the misfortune to reverse into the back of my car while I was parked. No one hurt, lucky enough, but I have a good bit of rear damage, hence the need to buy a "parts" car from England. Ron is on a lot, you just need to put out the right bait. The boxes o' wine have done little to dull his razorbill wit. Is that last bit correct?? Better with s than similes. Sunday morning, off to do a little clay shooting, Chat later Don Joe

To Wit, to Who
.Wise Owl
Hi Ron Good to hear from you. Sharpening is a good exercise, but seems temporary for me. Have myself at various times totally sorted exactly what was wrong with the world over a bottle or two of the correct vino or firewater. Merely to find a day or two later the cure did not work. Chaos returns. Remedies beyond recall. Mark Twain reckoned it was easy to give up tobacco, he'd done it hundreds of times. So also I will keep sharpening the wit like yourself, keep fixing the world, and ignore temporary setbacks. Joe

Hi Ron!
Joe has been out shooting clays. Maybe that is why I have never met anyone by that name. Keep in touch....I think the Snowshoe thread is dying. Don
