Smoker Vigilante Part 1:

So I'm at my bank today, which is next to a subway. Outside, stands an overweight, over make-uped woman puffing away on her 'ciggy'. She inhales a few more lungfuls of chemicals, tar, and addicitive nicotine into her lungs to be cool, then throws the cigarette into the parking lot. I see this happen. I honk the horn, and open up the door.

"LITTERBUG!!!!!!!!!!!" I yell.

She looks at me with this 'disgusted' face, like "oh my gawd, I can't believe he just complained that I threw my cigarette onto the ground. She then turned, and waddled back into the store. I got out of my car.

I walked up to her still burning cigarette, picked it up, walked up to the store, opened the door, and threw the cigarette inside the store.

I then walked back to my car, and drove off.

BAHHAhAhahAHahHAhA

It was great

Ann Arbor now has a law preventing smokers from smoking in front of buildings on the sidewalk. My coworkers actually have to go behind the building, by the dumpsters, to smoke. Otherwise they get fined. I think that this is mostly to prevent the butts from ending up on the sidewalk.

Pretty funny, Rob. If I was really that fed up, I'd probably just go in and ask the lady to stop littering. But that's just me - it takes far more offensive an act than a tossed butt to get me worked up like that.

Why don't you just go dump your oil in a river, that'd be real intelligent too.

wasn't it Lake Erie that ended up with so many flamables in it that it actually caught on fire?

Can I have your addresses? I just want to know where to dump the trash I'm too lazy to put in a garbage can.

That could be. Many many moons ago, before I knew any better we used to pour the oil down the sewer. Everyone did. It's amazing how things have changed. I've got two of those oil recycler thingys now days. One for oil and one for coolant. Funny thing is I seem to remember being real careful with the coolant, like it was worse than pouring oil down a sewer. Sheesh!

You're probably thinking of the Cuyahoga River, in Cleveland. It actually caught fire many times during the 20th century.

Friggin' Ohio...

Wink

While I'm anxiously awaiting Part II of this inflammatory series, could someone tell me just where is the proper place to dispose of those alkaline batteries to which we're so addicted?
I mean they're rough on the garbage disposal, & it says not to burn in the fireplace. Consequently the guest room is running out of space.
Anyone know the solution?

Ron (I always swallow my butts).
