SVX wanted

I need someone to talk me into purchasing a SVX. I have found one with a rebuilt tranny w/ 108k. I am a subaru nut I have owned just about every subaru an enthusist would want to. This is what I have owned...69 360 sedan, 1984 GL 2door hard top, 1986 Brat, 1986 GL10XT, 1987GLXT, 1989 custom XT6 wagon yes a wagon total custom, 1989 GL sedan, 1990 Justy, 1991 XT6. I want to move into the next generation of subes... Impreza or SVX. My only resevation on the SVX is the auto transmission. I only owned 4 and 5spd subes. I only drive manual transmission cars. The SVX is like the next generation xt for me. I liked the xt and would love own to a SVX. I would like to buy a SVX and convert it to a stick, but I dont have enough time for that and the resources for parts (mounting and such). Should I settle for an Impreza w/ 5spd or opt for the auto SVX.

How much to rebuild a transmission for the SVX?
Anyone willing to share info and designs for 5spd conversion?
Coolers and filter kit recommendations for the Transmission?

You will catch the dreaded disease with the rest of us and fall in love with the SVX and be willing to spend whatever it takes to keep her as nothing else will satisfy you once hooked. My wife needs her own know also. Probably a red one with low miles in perfect shape.

www.smallcar.com has a kit for 5spd conversion, I emailed them and they will sell a kit, for those that dont live in the WA State area for around $2600.00
