Tinted headlights/tail lights

T happened to see a new Porsche Cayman S today with custom tinted headlights and tail lights. They were absolutely stunning and looked factory in every way.

Here is where he told me he had them done.

http://www.jonstintedtails.com/index.htm

He said they could even tint your tail lights to match your body color, where your tail lights and brake lights still show through. I checked out the site. Lots of great photos and FAQ's. In the close-up photos in the gallery, their work looks amazing. Worth checking out.

Hmm....A light scuffing, sprayed with adhesion promoter, followed by whatever damn color mixed with clear basemaker(Thins it out)....toss on a clearcoat, give 'er the ol wet sand and polish....
The end result...Tail lights that are tastefully modified, yet...screaming "Hey, I fell into the craze of abstract automotive lighting products!!"
Probly illegal, but eh, it was a good idea

I understand people doing this for looks but personally I choose to improve my vision (both to see and to be seen).
