Fuel Problem
Hello everyone, I am having an issue with my 95 SVX,
I have just completed bypassing the my leaking hard lines from the tank to the bottom of the car. Everything is connected and there are no leaks but the car will not start. I checked the supply hose with the key on, and there is gas coming out. When the ignition key is turned on, I can hear a high pitched "howling" from the fuel pump. I have tried disconnecting the return line and cranking the engine to no avail. I have also tried running the engine on ether to try to let the system run but that also didn't work. My thought now is that there is maybe air stuck in the pump on the the engine? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Fuel Problem
Have you disconnected the fuel line at the fuel filter to see if fuel is getting that far? Be careful when you do this so you don't spray the engine with gas! Use a can or container to catch it.

I tried that and didn't get any gas through. Afterward I looked again and decided to swap the supply and return lines underneath the car just to see; and what do you know...the car started! When connecting all of the new lines underneath I was following the diagram found in the official Subaru SVX service manual and I guess that the diagram is backwards Thanks again for the help, and sorry for wasting anyone's time
