They DO know......
Now I know what the others were referring to in their posts about our cars knowing about the meet......
My check engine light flickered on Saturday as I was driving to work and never came on again........until today.....I was running an errand when the light came on again and stayed. I pulled off to the side of the road and shut the engine off. I then restarted it and the light went out as it should. On my way home, it comes on and stays on. I'm guessing it's the oxygen sensor or something as this happend with my 92 when it had a similar amount of miles. Is there any way to diagnose this problem without taking it to the dealer? Luckily 'belle is covered under warranty, but the last time this happened I was without my car for several days. The other problem is that the Subaru dealer that I take her to is quite busy and are pretty well scheduled. I need this taken care of before the meet, otherwise I don't want to chance driving it with that light on until I know what it is. Will driving it if it is the oxygen sensor screw up something? So sorry for the long post, but I'm at my wits end.......
