1992 SVX MA/RI Area Nice Shape Make Offer Trans Prob

1992 SVX AWD Teal Green. 159K miles. I am the second owner of this car and have the complete service history from day 1. The original owner was my boss and was meticulous about maintenance etc. He spent a small fortune on this thing.

The car is in very nice shape. The body is clean and above average for a car of this age and mileage. couple very small door dings/scratches and there are a couple spots on the leading edge of the wing where the paint has chipped, but overall very nice. The interior is also clean. No tears in the leather, just a couple small areas where it is coming unstitched on the front passenger seat. Rear seat has never been used and is like new. The dash and everything else inside is very nice. The wheels are peeling a bit, but don't look too bad. Tires will pass inspection.

I have had new rear wheel bearings, front half shafts, and front rotors/callipers done within the past 5K. The car has been sitting for about 4 months, but I started it occasionally and it started up no problem today when I took the pics. The engine runs strong and burns no oil that I have noticed. The AC does not work (could just be a re-charge??? don't know)

Now for the problem, the trans works fine in 1st & 2nd, but slips in 3rd and 4th gear. I am an outside rep and couldn't be without a car, so to my dispare, I had to replace her. My loss, your gain. I am moving July 1st and need to sell ASAP. $1350 or Make me an offer & get yourself a geat deal. This would make a great project or everyday driver. Being sold as is.
