Which fuse

Which fuse controls the warning lights? I blew a fuse and now non of the warning lights are coming on. Anyone?

There's a 15a fuse marked "hazard" in the underhood fuse box. Is that what you mean? B.

Fuse #15 is listed as controlling the "Meter." I don't know if that means the "Combination Meter" or not. #9 is listed as "Illumination brightness control." #27 is listed as the "Lighting Switch" fuse. I'd start by checking #15. There are none, specifically that are assigned to the "Warning Lights" (which I expect you mean the ATF/POWER/AIR BAG etc, lights).

That would be fuse #28.

9 and 15 are in the kickpanel box, while 27 is in the underhood box. FYI.

I checked all those fuses. All working. I will check them again tomorrow. Got too cold all of a sudden. Can't work in the parking lot if it gets too cold.

Time to buy a house. Time to find a job first.

Perhaps it isn't a fuse at all. Perhaps you've blown a relay. I'll have to check my manuals when I get home to see if there's a relay inline with the combo meter -- although, you probably know more about the combo meter than most people, since you've had it out, and in, and out, and in, and out, and in . . . . . . . .

Do you use the pizza flavored, or just the regular cheddar cheese Combos?

No, really - is the Combination Meter the climate control display? Mine's never worked right and maybe I need to check a fuse or two.

And it's the cheddar cheese.

The climate control thingy is called the "auto amplifier". There is a .pdf that may help in my locker.

Hmm.. pizza flavored for me..

Thanks, Boone - I've looked in your locker a few times to figure out what my climate control should be doing.

I was thinking that maybe the temperature display on the auto amplifier was referred to as the combination meter since it shows two different temperatures.

The "Combination Meter" is what Subaru calls, what we call "The Instrument Cluster," containing the speedo, tach, etc.

If your display is totally inop, you might check fuse #3. Though it doesn't list it in the manual, it controls the lighter, electriconically heated mirrors AND the climate control unit.

Well, now I feel dumb.

I'll check the fuse. Thanks, Randy.

If the "auto amp" is TU check fuse #25 (10A) in the underhood box. It's marked "clock" but thats what it says.

After going through each and every fuse, I found that the last fuse was blown. Great way to start the day. I am currently delaying all electronic related projects for now. I want to find a good dash replacement solution first.

Thanks for all your help with the fuse numbers.
