i remember when I first met my wife. She already had a kid less then a year old.

Baby was in the back seat crying, my wife (barely knew her at the time, just dating) unbelted, got in the back, and was trying to comfort the baby. A deer ended up in the road and I swirved. My wifes face planted into the side window and gave her a pretty good smash in the nose. Started bleeding everywhere immediately. My the first thing I said was "Look out for the suede".

Can you believe she married me a few years later!?

No armrests were damaged in this example.
