Manual Seat Belts and a Bullet/Aero exhaust kit
Since selling off the SVX a few months back, it's time to get rid of the last of the SVX stuff I have around the garage. The stuff is on ebay right now, and I figured I'd post the links here.
SOLDI've got a Bullet camaro style muffler and pair of AR20 resonators for sale. These make for a great sounding exhaust system, but my transmission died before I was able to afford to put them in. I've also got a set of manual seat belts for a conversion. I also have the oh-**** handle (but not the bracket) and the large trim pieces. The auction is technically only for the belts, but I'm happy to add in the trim pieces for only the cost of shipping (UPS is the cheapest I've found so far, but that came up at about $90 to go from here to LA, which is about the worst case scenario.) http://www.ebay.com/itm/221133008307...witem=&vxp=mtr

I'm honestly not sure. I originally got it from TomsSVX, but I think I heard something about them going out of business.

However, when you add it to the cart, the model number changes to 212234. Maybe just an internal number change. I tried to call them to confirm, but they had already gone for the day. I was told by customer service to contact the sales department on Monday. .

Since the outlets are 2.25", it would not be a problem to install the dual tip Magnaflow slant-cut tips to finish things off.
See MY LOCKER On the polo, I had YT gut and modify the stock tips completely so he could weld them directly to the exhaust pipes, keeping the low-key stock appearance .

Part# 212234 is also 5x8 rather than 5x9 for the original part#212214.
I think it may be a typo though as the other Camaro muffler #300212 also shows up as 5x8 on the order form. Last edited by Blacky; 09-29-2012 at 06:02 AM.

I would have rather kept the stock tips but without cutting them out like YT did I did not see a way to put them on the larger piping without restricting flow.

TRust me, there is absolutely no flow restriction. Once the exhaust exits the muffler, all restriction is eliminated; no longer a closed system with backpressure.
Think about the inlet and outlet sizes of the stock muffler. The pipes (soda straws) that attach to the tips are really small. Maybe YT or OT can explain it better... .
