Does anyone know stats, etc On Leo Durosier?

One of the young men that is working with me at the farm is Leo Durosier's namesake. My Leo's Great grandfather was Leo Derosier, Back in the 60's, he was a Major League baseball player.
Leo has never seen a picture of his great grandfather. I gave him a vid that shows him talking!
I'm gonna find out all I can about this man and pass it on to his Great Grandson!

IF any of you know ANYTHING about Leo 1, POST it!! Leo, II, post it! Leo III, I can find on the local CRIMINAL background check!
I am trying to 'reclaim' the 'LEGACY', skipping ONE generation!

This young man NEEDS to SEE where his bloodlines were POSITIVE!!

About Leo 4, He has a leg that is 4 inches shorter than the other one, due to an accident that he suffered years ago. He has been trying to 'fit in' at the farm.
He just turned 18 a month ago.
I have him 'pegged' as a good man that needs some 'back-up'.
Please post any GOOD stuff about his 'bloodlines' that I can print and hand to

I did the '' thing and came up empty. I KNOW that he was 'big' in 1961, since I have a DVD with him on it from that era.
Please help!

Actaully he was manager of the NY Giants ( now SF Giants).
Google 1951 NY Giants and 1948-50 Brooklyn Dodgers.

PS: His name is not spelled the way you show it.

You are right about the spelling thing. I saw him on an old Ernie Kovacks show from 1961.

He played 2nd base (?) on the 1934 St. Louis Cardinals' World Champions team (Gashouse Gang). His name is spelled Leo Durocher. He was traded to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1937 (?)

Thanks Alan. I have only been on the comp about an hour total this week.

My helper was born the year that Leo died.
He has a letter that his father recieved from his great grandfather when he was born.

Also, we figured out last night that the 'Ghetto-Bego' schoolbus camper that I own was the schoolbus that HE and Randy rode from kindergarden thru 5th grade! They both went to school with my daughter!
I bought the bus when my daughter was in 9th grade.
I had painted it white and taken out the seats. We were talking about 'Sandy', the driver. They said that she was nice. I asked what number was on the bus they rode, and they said 51. I turned them around and the only place that was not painted white was next to the door where the big number 51 still shows!
These guys were DESTINED to come to the farm!
