Swapped car header question.

Can I just use a 4cyl header and just add a pipe and use my 3-1 collector and flanges to these headers? I dont really see why not and then I will not have to deal with redesigning the whole thing for clearance. What do you experts think?

Btw I put this into this thread so I would not offend you guys. Lol.

Re: Swapped car header question.

Have you tried bolting it to an EG33 to see if it works at all?

I'm lost on how any part of the piping is useful.

He's swapping an EG33 into (I think) a Legacy wagon.

Those are 200, but I could find them cheaper. I already have two 3-1 collectors, flanges, and gaskets.

The bends are useful since they are designed to fit the impreza or LGT as in my case.

Already swapped into a 99 LGT sedan. Been running since summer 2010.
