If you want to live in a new world, get the fog-light HID's kit. DDM is a reasonable way to go. HID's LO beam combined with HID's fogs work like a dream!!!

The HID's High beams are totally unnecessary,

Guess so. I was going to wait for my new hood and grille before I take pictures but I could get some of the lights tonight.

While you're waiting, look in my locker for photos of 5000K HID low beams AND 5000K HID fog lights

http://www.subaru-svx.net/photopost/...ry.php?cat=547

Foglights are very bright. In fact during snowy winter weather, I disconnect my headlights and drive ONLY with the fogs. Plenty of light on the road and no reflected glare.

A daylight sample:

Re: How to install H3 fog HID's? (DDM)

For some reason, my ballast isn't working. Just sounds like someone strangling a duck when I try to turn them on. I guess one got wet. Im going to let it dry out then try later.

Meh. I figured the bulb got the lead power...guess it's backward. So, just switch the plugs and they should be fine. The ballasts are digital, so they won't work if they don't get the right current.

Please. No purple. Purple is for stupid people that know nothing about lights. 4200-4500k provides the most amount of light. Anything above that starts to get blue and 1. looks stupid and 2. is ineffective in 99% of driving situations. The 5000k's are okay, but they're still a little too white for my taste (but they aren't stupid looking like the blue/purple ones are).
