Aircon specialist recommendation in Sydney? plus lots of questions
Hey everyone, was wondering if anyone had any experience with a good specialist in Sydney?
Also interested to know whether anyone can source compressor seals for the SVX compressor. I'm assuming the piston ring seals are fine. Here's my plan: 1) Open up/depressurise the system at home and change every O ring seal.. everwhere except the expansion valve. 2x condensor, 2x compressor, 2x reciever, filter, drier, 2x high pressure/low pressure firewall. 2) order a new reciever filter drier (r134a) 3) sort out a working compressor MAYBE order a new compressor (r134a) 4) vacuum pump, fit everything up and regas, is there anything I'm missing out? Can someone please tell me whether the r134a SVX parts are compatible with the r12 system? (even though my system has been converted and was running r134a). I'd say my compressor is/was leaking because there is that residue that you can see with a uv light, it's not a lot, the leak was between the belt/pulley and the clutch (the stationary part). Sorry for all the questions!! Thanks, Jordan. |
