Re: what cars??

Agreed. They did make a 3.0 H6 that they put in select Legacy's and Outbacks, but I'm pretty sure the SVX was the only car in the North American market released with the EG33 motor.

Re: what cars??

Yup...SVX only. Pretty cool, and very rare for a manufacturer to use an engine for only 1 model over 7 years.

My buddy has a 3.0 in his Outback. Uses timing chains instead of a belt. Pretty cool.

Re: what cars??

The EG33 was the biggest Subaru engine until the Tribeca came out. I like that idea too.

Re: what cars??

There is an SVX in Lititz at a salvage yard in the junk yard section of the forum. The guy is asking $500 for the engine 99000 miles on the odometer
