Steering Problems

Since last night all of a sudden my steering feels light and the tuning isnt instant. I need to turn the steering more than I usually do in order to turn the car, and the turning circle shorter.

Any idea what might be wrong?

As it has "happened suddenly", I would check for slack between the steering wheel and the rack. Maybe a problem at the flex joint. I would check it out before driving too much.
