Guilty. When I first got my SVX. My excuse was it was SO quiet after driving the Sprint....yup, I got to the grocery store, hopped out and locked her up. Then as I walked away, I realized she was still running!
I'd left the sunroof cracked open, so I went in the store, borrowed a broom (got some strange looks when I said it was to unlock my car), and used the handle in thru the sunroof to push up the passenger side lock.

also guilty did it at a friend's house started the car then continued to lock it then close the door..
it was early in the mornin i had just woken up and needed to start the car to warm it up before i go.

anyways ended up grabbing a coat hanger straightened it and then made a hook at one end. pryed the door a lil to get it in. and pulled the door handle upwards and it popped open

No problem for me. I simply open the door by coding in my pin using the door handle. I have a JDM svx.

I just made it a habit to lock the car with the remote instead of with the inside door lock. I have locked my keys in my car plenty of times, just not on the SVX. I did it once on my legacy at the golf course, and I used a golf club to get in. (No I didn't smash a window, I stuck the handle of one club between the window glass and the body, and stuck another one in the gap and hit the unlock switch.)

Harvey.
Pretty cool wow.

I left my key on the ignition switch and closed the door. I didn't know my yellow one will lock it byitself?

Finally found a cloth hanger....took like 10-15 mins to unlock it. I'm no expert on this...if I were to do it again, it'd be much quicker but better not.

I don't know why Subaru doesn't do this, but my Toyota won't let you lock the door if the key is in the ignition, if you hit the lock switch or flip the lever, it automatically unlocks. And it's not an age thing cuz the 'Yota is a 90... (It's a Cressida in case you were wondering, has the same 7M-GE 3 liter inline six as the Supra, just not turbo and dog-o-matic)
