Re: Transmission cooler
FWIW: I installed a mid-sized (don't recall the specs) Hayden Automotive ATF cooler between the radiator and AC condenser on my teal SVX shortly after I bought it. This car also has a "campaign" filter installed. 50,000+ trouble-free miles thusfar.
My silver has logged 100,000+ miles on its second transmission; no AUX cooler, no external filter. Both are daily drivers, not flogged nor pampered. dcb |

Re: Transmission cooler
Do you have to remove the ac condensor?

Re: Transmission cooler
I removed the rad fans and the 4 bolts holding the 2 metal tabs that secure the upper portion of the rad in place. this allowed me to move the rad toward the engine enough to place and secure the cooler between the rad and condenser. Simple really.
