You could probably also go with a 245/35R18 as well. Pretty much the same circumference, just a bit wider. TireRack has like 17 tires that size just from a quick search I did there, so it's not TOO uncommon of a size...
You may worry about rubbing though, I don't know personally. Also, here is a website that is extremely handy when trying to figure out what size tire to get when changing your wheels. Compares stock vs. desired size and tells you how far off your speedo will be!

some places will let you test drive the tires for a day to decide (NTB national tire and battery) ideally a 245/40YR18 would be best. i run 255/50wr16 that only rub in the front in max cornering, which are like having 255/40yr18, so 245/40yr18 should be no problem, especially if you can test drive them.

255-35-18 (same diameter as stock)
I am running 255-35-18 without rubbing, on tribecca wheels which have the same offset (+55mm) as stock, but are 8" wide. I had 225-40-18 on the wheels first, but they looked weird on the 8" wheels, like the wheel was wider than the tire.
Handling is crisper than stock 225-50-16 , but ride has deteriorated considerably.... Good luck in your mission, I had a hard time finding anyplace to mount the ultra low profile tires...the tire machine needs an extra arm (Hunter) I was told... I recommend buying the tires where they will mount them, and give you an exchange guarantee if you find they rub.[IMG][/IMG]

On an 18x7.5 wheel I would go at least 225 width. 7.5 is the stock wheel width, and most SVXii run 225/50/16 on those. I have 205 width snow tires on my stock wheels, and they look noticably too narrow for the wheel. I don't care for snow though, because I want a narrow tire for winter.
My suggestions: 1. 225/40/18 2. 235/40/18 3. 235/35/18 4. 245/35/18 In my opinion 1 and 2 are the best size for a 7.5" rim. 3 and 4 are best suited to an 8" wide rim. #1 keeps the closest match to the stock diameter, but all are well within the 3% difference considered the limit. 245 is a wide as I would go. If you look at tire fitment charts (I'm a licensed tire technician, so this is stuff I do every day), you'll see that 255 is best suited to rims 8.5-10" wide. I can make tires far out of the fitment range work, but it's not a great idea.
