weird test with spark plugs

if i use a bosch platinum 2, my svx has barely any misfire
if i use a bosch platinum plus 2, it has extreme misfire

i did this test within 10 minuts of eachother on 1 cylinder, the bosh platinum was best, is that because of the better fit without those washers on it??
http://static.summitracing.com/globa...bch-4301_w.jpg

btw, had 2 spark plugs with bosch platinum plus 2,and the other 4 with the plain platinum 2, 1 cylinder had a misfire with a plus 2 plug, but i switched it with just a plain platinum 2 without the washers and it ran good....

well it only seems to do this test with that one coil, which had a CEL for a misfire, but i already baught all new +2's a week ago and installed them but it it runs worse if i have a new +2 on that coil only..... im unsure to get some ngk plugs or just buy a new coil.... i dont want to wast anymore money here....

Maybe you need new coils. Did you check the spark plug wires?

Well I didn't exactly mean brand new, just from a parts car. Post something in the Parts wanted forum for them. It wno't be nearly as much as $800 brand new.

swap the coil you think is bad to the other side and you'll see if the misfire follows the coil or stays with that cylinder.

If you still got misfiring on that coil, then wouldn;t it be that coil that's bad?
