Windows XP on a Mac!
I'm writing this on a Mac G5 running OS X10.4, with Parallels Desktop loaded which created a "Virtual Computer" on which I loaded Windows XP and loaded Internet Explorer 6. And dang - it's fast!
Who'da thunk it? |

Have you tried FireFox yet? I like it much better than IE.

I've tried FireFox on Mac OS X and didn't like it as much as Safari. I haven't tried it on Windows yet.
The reason I had to load Windows is that I need IE 6 to communicate with a server that requires it. IE doesn't support the Mac any more. Otherwise, I've no need for Windows, having been a Mac guy for over 20 years now. |

Common, you can't buy a $80 piece of software along with the cost of Windows just to access one website, at least get MS Office Suite, if you got Vista instead and have a high spec Mac you could even be playing a few DirectX 10 games, not to mention games for Windows are almost always cheaper than Mac ones.
You should enjoy the benefits of having Windows. |
