Go to Subaruparts.com, and go under engine, you will have a whole list of engine parts including hoses with numbers.

Off the topic a bit, but what kinda symptom do you see when those vacuum hoses are bad..?

I started with a code for the O2 sensors, and changed the spark plugs and now it's just the old symptom of code 34 and rough starting sometimes. You might also have a lot of engine shaking when missing one (happened to my legacy)

Some of the Subaru hoses are preformed and hardened. This prevents kinks and withstands the heat from the engine.

If you need a pre-formed hose(s) like the crankcase ventilation hoses pictured above Subaru is probably the only source. For generic vacuum lines, ATF hose and such, I'd bet the quality of aftermarket goods equals or exceeds what comes from a dealership. dcb |

I replaced both hoses from the PCV connection, the small hose that connects to the shift kit and the short L hose under the snorkel part. They all cracked at the connections. You may be right about the cheap quality. But I'm not taking chances again, unless it's a temporary fix untill I order Subaru parts. The prices won't break me. Anyway, I sure don't want to replace the PCV hose that goes under the manifold again, what a PIA!!!!

I'd like to know the reasoning behind the location of the PCV valve on these cars. Seems to me they could have put one in each of the valve-train breathers. No, wait... then they'd be too easy to clean or replace.
